mero is a celebration of the human hand in collaboration with modern form. Born in Poznan, our sculptural candles are designed to be more than light—they are a medium for personal expression. Everything here takes time and patience—and it is meant to. Behind every form lies a process that cannot be rushed. If some of our objects feel expensive, it is only because we never look for shortcuts.

let it burn

Ensure a perfect start: during the first burn, allow the wax to melt for 2–3 hours until the entire top surface becomes liquid. This prevents "tunneling" and ensures your candle burns evenly every time. To extinguish the flame without smoke or ash, we recommend using a professional snuffer—this keeps your pure soy wax pristine and free from contamination.

The key to a clean flame is the wick. Before every lighting, trim the wick to approximately 6 mm (1/4 inch). This prevents smoking and keeps the wick from falling into the melted wax. After extinguishing, ensure the wick is centered to protect your mero's architecture from uneven overheating. During subsequent sessions, do not burn the candle for more than 3 hours at a time.

Your mero is a freestanding form, crafted without a glass container. Therefore, always place your stack on a separate, stable, and heat-resistant holder. This is essential to protect your surfaces from heat and natural, sculptural wax drips.

Treat light with respect. Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep it out of reach of children and pets. Avoid drafts and direct sunlight, which could soften or deform the wax. When you approach the end of a module and about 6 mm (1/4 inch) of wax remains, discontinue burning to prevent direct flame contact with the holder or surface.
